I have a background in Hotel and Resort Property Management, Real Estate Sales & Marketing, and Residential Mortgage Finance. Prior to becoming licensed to sell real estate, I managed waterfront vacation resorts in Key West Florida. After being licensed in real estate sales, in 1990, I began working with first time home buyers, and boomers who were downsizing. Coordinating the selling and buying process simultaneously, can be particularly challenging, but also very rewarding.
In 2004 I joined the growing New Construction phase of real estate, as Project Sales Manager for three luxury waterfront communities being developed in the Florida Keys. Working with engineers, designers, contractors, builders, city management and inspection departments throughout the infrastructure and development process, gave me a vast understanding of the building industry. As the lead representative for the builder on site, I developed relationships with many out of state buyers, realtors, and banking institutions, as well as local investors.
My relocation to the Ft Lauderdale area in 2006, led me into the booming mortgage industry. Experiencing the largest financial crisis in America’s recent history, from inside the banking world, was quite a ride. As over 800 banks and lending institutions folded, home values plummeted, and the market became flooded with foreclosure properties, I moved back into real estate sales, where I helped buyers and sellers understand the short sales and foreclosure process.
Today, I view the last few volatile years in this industry as a gift. Witnessing first hand, how the shifts in our industry have permanently changed the way that people buy and sell real estate, I am quite adept at navigating this new terrain. Let’s talk about your plans for the future and how I can assist you in achieving them, smoothly, quickly and successfully.
