ORLANDO, Fla. – Success strategies from top real estate leaders, how-to education sessions, the chance to network with other industry professionals and the latest in high-tech devices: That’s what the 2024 Florida Realtors® Convention & Trade Expo offers – opportunities to boost business and your bottom line.

Florida Realtors Convention & Trade Expo takes place Aug. 21-22, 2024, at the Rosen Shingle Creek resort in Orlando, with the popular REBarCamp slated to kick off the event on Tuesday, Aug. 20.

“Every Realtor should participate in this year’s Florida Realtors Convention and Trade Expo,” says 2024 Florida Realtors® President Gia Arvin, broker-owner with Matchmaker Realty in Gainesville. “In a span of 48 hours, real estate professionals can network with their peers, learn proven tips for successful business practices, get marketing strategies, hear inspirational speakers who offer advice from experience and enjoy great entertainment, too. It truly is two days, too good to miss!”

The 2024 convention features more than 30 education sessions from leading real estate speakers on various topics such as defining your buyer value proposition in a new market; tax strategies and write-offs for the self-employed; top AI tools for Realtors; maximizing profitability with a data-driven mindset; how to create short form video content and much more.

Highlights

  • REBarCamp: Aug. 20, 8 a.m.-6:15 p.m.
Sponsored by Florida Realtors Young Professionals Network (YPN), this peer-to-peer learning and sharing event isn’t a lecture – more of a Q&A session where Realtors ask experts – and sometimes each other – the hard questions. Over 500 members have attended REBarCamp in previous years.
  • General Session Keynote: Erin and Ben Napier, Aug. 21, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Erin and Ben Napier, stars of HGTV’s “Home Town,” will share the stage with 2024 Florida Realtors President Gia Arvin to answer questions submitted by our members. And just in time to support our theme of Homegrown, the Napiers’ spinoff HGTV show, “Home Town Makeover,” has chosen Sebring, Florida as their next town to revitalize! One ticket included with full convention registration.
  • Dance with “Sister Hazel”: Aug. 21, 8-11 p.m.
The band for this year’s Dance Party fits this year’s theme of Homegrown. From Gainesville, Sister Hazel will rock the convention stage for a night of fun. Before and after Sister Hazel, DJ “Scooter” will spin a wide range of dance tunes to keep attendees dancing. One ticket included with registration for the in-person convention and one additional ticket can be purchased by any full convention attendee for $30.
  • Awards Luncheon, Aug. 22, noon-1:45 p.m.
Florida Realtors honors Realtor excellence and service at this ticketed event, including recognizing the Humanitarian of the Year and Realtor of the Year and other award winners. This year’s entertainment: country singing duo “Jason & Billy,” who have been encouraging crowds at Disney World to have fun for decades. Tickets are $50 and will be sold until noon Wednesday, Aug. 21, if tickets remain available.
  • Trade Expo, Aug. 21-22
The expo features more than 200 industry experts and exhibitors showcasing the latest marketing and technology products. Expo hours are: Wednesday, Aug. 21, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Thursday, Aug. 22, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
