September is Realtor Safety Month, and Florida Realtors has compiled information and resources to keep you safe throughout the year.
ORLANDO, Fla. – In a time when personal safety is paramount, Realtors® have increasingly been taking proactive measures to protect themselves and their businesses.
According to National Association of Realtors® data, real estate professionals have implemented safety protocols, including meeting new customers in their offices or neutral locations, attending self-defense classes and carrying self-defense tools. Despite these precautions, Realtors are still taking chances: NAR’s 2023 safety survey showed that 85% of residential members have shown a property alone compared to 42% percent in 2022.
